Secure fencing for sports clubs and sports grounds
The fencing at a sports ground has to fufil a number of functions:
- Keep the sports ground perimeter secure from trespassers when the grounds are closed
- Prevent sports related equipment such as balls from breaching the boundaries
- Provide a safe, contained area for children to play
Trentwood Fencing will supply and install a wide range of fencing suitable for sports grounds and clubs, football, cricket and rugby pitches, tennis courts, golf clubs, school playing fields and many more.
Security mesh fencing in Summertown, Oxford
Summertown, bounded by the river Cherwell, is a vibrant suburb just outside of Oxford city centre.
We were pleased to be asked to install a 100-metre-long security mesh fence for an Oxford university sports ground, using 1.8m high 868 wire fencing. The new fence will keep the perimeter secure when the grounds are closed.
Security mesh fencing at Kingston Bagpuize, Abingdon
Kingston Bagpuize & Southmoor Bowls Club take great pride in the quality of their greens and were looking for a cost-effective solution to stop people trespassing on their grounds and damaging them. We erected a long run of IAE Duex 868 security mesh fencing along the club's roadside perimeter, which they were delighted to report acted as an effective deterrent.
Wire mesh fencing is a common sight in schools, leisure centres, sports clubs and parks because the robust wire pattern creates a rigid wall of rebound mesh. This is ideal for sports areas where the fencing might take a lot of impact.
