Iroko Hardwood Gates, Made to Order for a Burford Manor
These photos show a pair of beautiful iroko hardwood gates, with 200x200mm oak posts, recently completed at a private manor house in Burford, Oxfordshire. The gates were made to order by our local supplier, and the posts were so heavy we had to use a mini digger to get them in!
Oak Field Gates in Burford, Oxfordshire
Our customer in Burford, West Oxfordshire, required a set of field gates for the wide entrances on either the side of their property and asked Trentwood fencing to help.
In keeping with the rural aspect of this medieval Cotswold town, the customer settled on a selection of traditional oak, curved-heel field gates (sometimes known as Ranch gates) with oak gates posts. The installation went smoothly and our customer was very happy with the result. As you can see from the photos, Trentwood Fencing always leaves a site clean and tidy!
Despite the name, field gates are often ideal for driveways. At the wider entrance to this property, a double set of field gates formed a practical boundary, while a single field gate was all that was necessary on the other side.
