West Hagbourne is a lovely small village about two miles south of the expanding town of Didcot in South Oxfordshire. Picket fencing and post-and-rail fencing at Harwell, near Didcot

A customer whom we've worked for in the past called on our fencing services again for a large job at his new-build house in Harwell, near Didcot. In fact, we have installed fencing for several members of this same family in various locations around Oxfordshire, for which we're very grateful. As you can see below, our team installed attractive timber picket (palisade) fencing at the front of the property, in combination with sloping close-board fencing to join up to brick pillars flanking the driveway. 

In the large rear garden, simple post-and-rail fencing along the rear boundary allows glorious views of the countryside beyond, joining with more sloping close-board fencing at either side for privacy.

Composite fencing installed in Didcot

This recent project featured very attractive, contemporary composite fencing with a decorative trellis top, along with aluminium posts, all manufactured by Charles & Ivy and professionally installed by Trentwood Fencing. Our customer had already done their research by the time they asked us for a quote, and decided on the styles they liked from Charles & Ivy.  We sourced everything the customer needed and did a very professional installation job, leaving the site clean and tidy.

Bow-top railings for Didcot Council

We are always proud to be entrusted with fencing contracts for local authorities, so we were delighted to install these galvanised bow-top railings on behalf of Didcot Town Council in Oxfordshire. Perfect for playgrounds, parks or other public areas, these railings will last for years to come. The tubular design is lighter than traditional solid steel, so they're lighter and faster to install, and more cost-effective, too.

Anti-trap bow top railings are another popular choice for fencing child-oriented play areas; the wider gap between the top hoop reduces the risk of a child getting their head, neck or limbs caught between the bars.

Close board fencing in Didcot

This customer was very pleased with some work we'd done for him on a previous occasion, so we were pleased to be called back recently to install a 1.8m close board fence with matching gate at his home in Didcot, Oxfordshire.
