Security mesh fencing at Kingston Bagpuize, Abingdon
Kingston Bagpuize & Southmoor Bowls Club take great pride in the quality of their greens and were looking for a cost effective solution to stop people trespassing on their grounds and damaging them. We erected a long run of IAE Duex 868 security mesh fencing along the club's roadside perimeter, which they were delighted to report acted as an effective deterrent.
Wire mesh fencing is a common sight in schools, leisure centres, sports clubs and parks because the robust wire pattern creates a rigid wall of rebound mesh. This is ideal for sports areas where the fencing might take a lot of impact.
Tricky fence lines for close board fencing jobs in Abingdon
We recently completed two close board fencing jobs in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
Both were particularly challenging, as a large wall had to be removed prior to the fencing being fitted. You can also see a rather tricky fence line in one of the photos below, as we carefully navigated around a line of established tree in one of the gardens.
This is all part of the job, however; Trentwood Fencing's expert team can almost always find a solution to awkward situations like this. Despite the complications, the work was completed on time, and both customers were very happy.
Decorative Trellis Fencing in Abingdon
We completed this lovely 2.1m high close board trellis fencing for a customer in Abingdon-On-Thames, Oxfordshire.
To ensure a long service life and guard against rotting, they opted to have the posts treated with Postsaver post protection sleeves. We finished the job in good time and to the agreed quote, leaving the site clean and tidy, as always.
Our customer was very happy with their new trellis fencing.
Post & Rail Fencing in Abingdon
We recently completed a small post and rail fencing installation in Abingdon. This was a slight deviation from a typical post and rail job, being installed mainly to create a demarcation between the customer's property and the path.
We used 100mm x 100mm posts concreted into the ground and 150mm x 22mm rails. The customer had used Trentwood Fencing's services in the past with great results, and he was once again very happy at the work we did on this occasion.
Tongue and Groove Driveway Gates Installed in Abingdon
A customer near Abingdon was delighted with this lovely pair of softwood tongue and groove gates fitted at across her driveway.
We used 175 x 175mm four-way top gate posts, concreted 750mm into the ground, with Postsaver sleeve protection for a long service life. All gate fittings are galvanised to prevent rusting.
Our customer is building a house on a large plot in the lovely Vale of White Horse village of Frilford, near Abingdon. For this job, we were asked to install stock fencing with high tensire wile and creosote posts to keep our customer's dog from wandering. Stock fencing is perfect for this sort of job: long-lasting, unobtrusive and low maintenance; the high tension in the wire reduces sag, and there are no barbs to injure livestock or pets.
